Step into the vast silence of the desert. My retreats in Al-Ula and Rajasthan are designed to help you release, reset, and reconnect with your inner stillness through Kundalini practice and ancient ritual.

This was our sacred circle in the deserts of Al-Ula. Here, surrounded by ancient rock formations, we gathered for a zodiac ritual, connecting with the cosmos and the profound stillness of the landscape.

The majestic landscape of Habitas Al-Ula, the site of one of our most profound retreats. The energy of this ancient desert is palpable, offering a powerful space for healing and self-discovery.

An invitation to a journey within, at Al-Ula. This collage captures the essence of the experience, from the stunning accommodations to the unique landscapes that serve as our classroom and sanctuary.

A glimpse into the Ajna Yoga experience in Al-Ula. From the moment you arrive, you are guided on a journey of transformation, with practices set against the backdrop of these magnificent, timeless rock formations.

Healing begins with the choice to pause, breathe, and explore. In Al-Ula, we did just that, with sound healing sessions in the open desert and quiet moments of reflection by the fire.

Our Sangat gathered near the iconic Elephant Rock in Al-Ula. Sharing these incredible sights and creating memories together in such a powerful place is a beautiful part of the retreat experience.

A beautiful meal shared together in the oasis of Al-Ula. Community and connection are fostered not just in practice, but also in the simple joy of sharing nourishing food.

About Desert Soul Quests: Al-Ula & Rajasthan

The desert is a powerful teacher. In these retreats, we use the quiet of the dunes and ancient canyon formations—like the ones in Al-Ula—to amplify our practice. Mornings begin with Kundalini kriya to shift stuck energy, while our evenings are reserved for zodiac rituals and sound healing under the open sky, far from the noise of city life.

Nature offers a kind of therapy that four walls never can. By taking our practice to the desert, we remove the distractions of daily routine and allow the nervous system to truly settle. These journeys are not about escaping reality but about gaining the clarity needed to face it with strength.

What to Expect

We prioritize deep, sustainable change over quick fixes. Whether we are in the royal heritage settings of Rajasthan or the canyons of Al-Ula, the structure remains consistent:

  • Kundalini Kriya: Specific sets of movement and breathwork to balance the chakras and move stagnant emotional energy.
  • Sound Healing: Group gong baths and vocal chanting designed to harmonize the body's frequency with the quiet of the environment.
  • Sangat (Community): We keep our cohorts small. This ensures a safe space where you can be seen, share your struggles, and feel supported by others on a similar path.
  • Nature Integration: We use the landscape—stargazing, desert walks, and dining outdoors—to ground ourselves back into the present moment.

Why the Desert?

There is a profound stillness in arid landscapes that mirrors the state of mind we aim to cultivate. The lack of visual clutter helps the mind stop racing, allowing us to drop the 'baggage' we often unknowingly carry. You do not need to be an expert in yoga to join; you only need a desire to breathe, disconnect, and see what is possible when you surrender to the process. Everything unfolds according to hukam (divine will), and your only job is to show up as you are.

I’m Sukhmani. I didn't find this path because I was perfect; I found it because I was stuck, just like many of you. My retreats are about holding space for your release, creating a Sangat where you can drop the baggage and just breathe.
