Featured Homemade Brahmin-Style Meals & Specialties
From festive sweets to daily tiffin, everything I make is prepared with pure ghee and fresh, hand-ground masalas. Here is a glimpse of the tradition and authentic taste I bring to your table.
A platter of my special Dry Fruit Laadus, also known as Antina Unde, prepared for a baby's naming ceremony. Each one is packed with nuts, edible gum, and jaggery, all bound together with pure, homemade ghee.
Soft, flaky Bele Holige, made fresh for an afternoon order. The lentil and jaggery filling is a traditional recipe passed down in my family, perfect for festivals or just a sweet craving.
A plate of hot, fluffy Aloo Bondas served with my signature green chutney. I fry every batch in fresh oil, ensuring a perfect, non-greasy snack every time, especially on a rainy Bangalore evening.
This is my popular Kuttavalakki, a specialty from North Karnataka. It's a savory mixture of flattened rice, spices, and loaded with crunchy dry fruits and peanuts for a delightful texture.
Nuchhinunde is a traditional, protein-packed steamed snack from Karnataka. Made from lentils and fresh herbs, it's a healthy breakfast or evening tiffin, best enjoyed with a dollop of warm ghee.
A close-up of my homemade Curry Leaf Chutney Pudi. This aromatic and healthy powder is made from freshly roasted curry leaves and lentils, perfect to mix with rice, or sprinkle on idli and dosa.
A glimpse of a breakfast spread I delivered to a movie shooting set. I can cater complete meals, including Idli, Vada, Sambar, and various rice dishes, for events and teams of any size.
Reading messages like these from my customers makes all the hard work worth it. I am so grateful for the love and feedback you share about my Bhogi and Sankranti special meals.
About Featured
Every order you see here is prepared only after you book it. I never keep stock of items or reuse oil, so whether you are ordering a box of Holige or a catering spread, you are getting food made fresh that same day in my home kitchen.
Pure Ghee Sweets & Traditional Snacks
I believe sweets should taste exactly like how your ajji (grandma) made them. That means using only pure Nandini ghee, never oil, and absolutely no preservatives. My Mysore Pak is soft and porous, while my Antina Unde (dry fruit balls) are packed with nutrition. For snacks, I stick to the classics—crispy Chakli, Kodubale, and Nippattu—fried in fresh sunflower oil for every batch so you never deal with an acidic aftertaste.
North Karnataka & Regional Specialties
Being from this region, I love sharing the food I grew up with. You will find authentic North Karnataka dishes here, like my special Kuttavalakki, which is loaded with crunchy dry fruits and peanuts, and traditional snacks like Zunakada Vade. It is the kind of comfort food that is hard to find in regular restaurants.
Catering for Your Special Occasions
Whether it is a small baby naming ceremony or a larger office lunch, I handle catering with the same focus on quality. I can prepare a full traditional Brahmin menu—from steaming hot Idli and Sambar to festival-special Habbada Oota. Because I operate out of my home kitchen in Girinagar, I can customize everything based on your preferences. If you have a specific festival or celebration coming up, let me know in advance, and I will ensure your meal is as authentic as it gets.
