Traditional Homemade Sweets
When you crave a sweet that tastes just like home, you need recipes that don't cut corners. Everything here is made to order, using only pure ghee and fresh ingredients for that genuine taste of tradition.
Perfectly round Motichur Laddus, made with tiny boondis soaked in sugar syrup and formed with pure ghee. Each laddu is garnished with a piece of nut, ready for your celebration.
A plate of classic Rava Laadu, made with roasted semolina, coconut, sugar, and ghee. These are a timeless sweet, perfect for festivals or as a simple, comforting dessert.
Two plates of fresh Coconut Burfi, cut into diamond shapes and ready for delivery. I use fresh coconut and cook it slowly to get that perfect soft and chewy texture.
My special Pineapple Sajjige, also known as Kesari Bath. This sweet semolina dish is rich with ghee, cashews, and chunks of fresh pineapple for a tangy twist.
About Homemade Sweets (Mane Mādida Sihi)
Because I prepare these sweets only after you place an order, you won't find anything that has been sitting on a shelf. Whether it is a batch of soft Mysore Pak or crisp Rava Laadus, they come out of my kitchen fresh, without the chemical preservatives or vegetable fats you would find in store-bought boxes.
The Difference of Made-to-Order
There is a simple difference between a factory-made sweet and one made at home: time and intention. When you order from Agraane Kitchen, you are not getting a box from a stockpile. You are getting a fresh batch, often made that very morning.
Why Freshness Matters
Commercial sweets often rely on preservatives to increase shelf life. I do not. By sticking to small, made-to-order batches, I can maintain the authentic texture of a soft, porous Mysore Pak or the perfect crumb of a Rava Laddu without needing stabilizers or additives.
The Pure Ghee Promise
You will never find dalda or hydrogenated vegetable oil in my sweets. I use only pure Nandini ghee, which provides that distinct aroma and richness essential to Karnataka Brahmin-style cooking. Whether it is the coconut burfi or my pineapple sajjige, the ghee is a primary ingredient, not just a flavoring agent.
Customization for Your Occasion
Planning a festival feast or a small get-together in Bengaluru? Since I operate a small kitchen, I can adjust the sweetness levels or the ratio of nuts to suit your preference. If you have a specific requirement for Habba (festival) specials like Sakkare acchu or Tambittu, just let me know a day or two in advance. It allows me to source the freshest ingredients and have everything ready for your pickup or delivery.
