About Age is Just a Number
Many of our students arrive thinking advanced inversions like headstands or aerial splits are 'too late' for them. Within weeks, using wall ropes and proper spotting, they safely experience the benefits of inversions that they haven't touched in decades.
In our studio in Sector 23, Gurugram, we do not look at calendars. We look at capacity and curiosity. When you step onto the mat, your age is irrelevant compared to your willingness to try. We use props like Iyengar-style wall ropes, aerial silks, and yoga wheels to bridge the gap between what you think you can do and what your body is actually capable of.
For our senior members, the journey often starts with simple stretches and transitions into advanced asanas like Bakasana or full splits because we focus on alignment and safety. The secret is consistency, or as we say, 'karat-karat abhyas'. We provide hands-on spotting and gentle adjustments to ensure everyone feels secure while exploring deep backbends or inversions.
This is not a silent, intimidating gym environment. It is a space where a 60-year-old and a 20-year-old might share a laugh while struggling through the same plank sequence. If you have been hesitant about joining because you worry about flexibility or joints, come observe a session. You will see firsthand that with the right support, your body is stronger than you realize.
