For us, dance is a parampara, a heritage passed down through generations. These glimpses are from our personal journey, where tradition meets the stage.

This is a very special moment for me, wearing one of my mother's wedding sarees. This connection to my family and our traditions is at the heart of my dance journey.

A glimpse into our "Delhi diaries." This video shows the fun transition from our casual travel look to being fully ready in costume and makeup for a big performance in the city.

Another photo in my mother's beautiful saree. It's a reminder of the parampara, the tradition and legacy that I feel so humbled to carry forward through my art.

About Our Journey & Parampara

The saree you see in these photos holds stories beyond the stage. It is my mother’s wedding saree, which I now wear to keep our parampara, or tradition, alive. When we transition from our daily practice clothes to these traditional outfits, it is a deliberate ritual that shifts our focus from technique to the emotional core of our Kathak and Bharathanatyam performances.
