Why I Choreograph
Dance is everything to me - it's where I express, teach, and honestly, where I feel most alive. Creating and performing with my sister Spurthi is my happy place. I find real joy in turning simple steps into stories that stick with you.
My Style & Approach
I lean into Indian classical dance choreography, mixing our culture and mythology into every piece. The stories of Durga, Krishna, or Garuda Gamana often take center stage. I like to experiment – blending Bharathanatyam’s grace with the energy of Kathak in my fusion jugalbandi choreography. Tradition is important, but so is pushing what’s possible.
What I Offer
- Full-scale stage productions, like 'TARANG' and 'DURGE', with my team from Natyanjali School of Dance. Think big sets, original music, the whole deal.
- Customized group dance routines for cultural festivals, corporate events, or special shows. We’ve done everything from Times of India awards to TEDx.
- Duets and ensemble pieces, always aiming for tight coordination and strong storytelling.
Sangeet & Special Events
If you want something different for your wedding, I create story-driven wedding sangeet choreography too. Whether it’s for the couple or the whole family, I try to make it meaningful and memorable.
Collaboration
For big shows, I work with musicians, lighting, and stage designers so every detail lands. It’s never just about the dance – it’s about the whole experience.

My Story
Hey, we’re the Natyanjali School of Dance, run by me and my sister Spurthi – the dancing sisters from Bangalore! Dance is our life, not just a job. Our roots are deep in Kannada parampara (tradition). I still remember performing in Amma’s old wedding saree – those moments make our art personal. We mix our family stories and heritage into every step. Apart from dance, travel is our jam – every place has a story, just like every performance.
My Work
Performances & Choreography - Solo, duet, and group acts in Bharathanatyam and Kathak. Big events, festivals, you name it.
Teaching & Training - We teach traditional dance training in Bangalore, passing on what we've learned to new dancers.
Our Style - Blending old-school moves with fresh ideas. Contemporary Indian dance acts with soul.
Special Productions - Kathak fusion performances like 'Garuda Gamana', and powerful acts like 'Durge' for corporate and international shows.
