Why I Choreograph
Dance is everything to me - it's where I express, teach, and honestly, where I feel most alive. Creating and performing with my sister Spurthi is my happy place. I find real joy in turning simple steps into stories that stick with you.
My Style & Approach
I lean into Indian classical dance choreography, mixing our culture and mythology into every piece. The stories of Durga, Krishna, or Garuda Gamana often take center stage. I like to experiment – blending Bharathanatyam’s grace with the energy of Kathak in my fusion jugalbandi choreography. Tradition is important, but so is pushing what’s possible.
What I Offer
- Full-scale stage productions, like 'TARANG' and 'DURGE', with my team from Natyanjali School of Dance. Think big sets, original music, the whole deal.
- Customized group dance routines for cultural festivals, corporate events, or special shows. We’ve done everything from Times of India awards to TEDx.

My Story
Hey, we’re the Natyanjali School of Dance, run by me and my sister Spurthi – the dancing sisters from Bangalore! Dance is our life, not just a job. Our roots are deep in Kannada parampara (tradition). I still remember performing in Amma’s old wedding saree – those moments make our art personal. We mix our family stories and heritage into every step. Apart from dance, travel is our jam – every place has a story, just like every performance.
My Work
Performances & Choreography - Solo, duet, and group acts in Bharathanatyam and Kathak. Big events, festivals, you name it.
Teaching & Training - We teach traditional dance training in Bangalore, passing on what we've learned to new dancers.
