About Indian Classical & Fusion Dance Performances
Dance Runs in My Blood
For me, dance is not just an art form - it's life itself. I grew up in Bangalore, with dance as our family's parampara (tradition). Sharing the stage with my sister Spurthi is really special - people call us the 'dancing sisters' for a reason. We bring a lot of heart and chemistry to every performance.
What I Offer
- Solo performances if you want something powerful and intimate.
- Kathak and Bharathanatyam dance duets with my sister - we love telling stories, from Radha-Krishna to Shiva, or just celebrating rhythm.
- Fusion dance group performance with teams from Natyanjali School of Dance and Abhinava Dance Company - these can be big, colorful productions like 'DURGE' and 'Krishnaa'. Sometimes, we throw in aerial silk acts to keep things exciting.
Mixing Tradition and Modern
My base is in Indian classical dance - especially Kathak and Bharathanatyam. But I also enjoy blending styles and experimenting, so you’ll see classical fusion in shows like 'GARUDA GAMANA'. Sometimes we add a modern touch, but the soul of tradition stays strong.
Where We Perform
- Cultural festivals, global tours (G20, AKKA Vishwa Kannada Sammelana, shows in USA & Canada)
- Indian dance for corporate events, award nights, and functions
- Devotional gatherings at temples, spiritual events - we love creating mythological and devotional pieces
Collaboration is Everything
My gurus Nirupama & Rajendra have shaped my journey. Live orchestra classical dance is a huge part of our bigger shows - the sound of sitar and flute brings all the feels. Every performance is a joint effort, and I’m lucky to work with so many brilliant artists.
Namma dance, namma style (Our dance, our way) - always heartfelt, sometimes bold, always real.

My Story
Hey, we’re the Natyanjali School of Dance, run by me and my sister Spurthi – the dancing sisters from Bangalore! Dance is our life, not just a job. Our roots are deep in Kannada parampara (tradition). I still remember performing in Amma’s old wedding saree – those moments make our art personal. We mix our family stories and heritage into every step. Apart from dance, travel is our jam – every place has a story, just like every performance.
My Work
Performances & Choreography - Solo, duet, and group acts in Bharathanatyam and Kathak. Big events, festivals, you name it.
Teaching & Training - We teach traditional dance training in Bangalore, passing on what we've learned to new dancers.
Our Style - Blending old-school moves with fresh ideas. Contemporary Indian dance acts with soul.
Special Productions - Kathak fusion performances like 'Garuda Gamana', and powerful acts like 'Durge' for corporate and international shows.
