Every dancer has a path that shapes their movement. From my early training with Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan ji to bringing Bharatanatyam to global stages, these moments define my philosophy.

A portrait from my performance at the Namaste France festival in Paris. It was an immense honor to represent Indian culture on an international stage, an opportunity for which I am deeply grateful.

The ocean has its own rhythm. Here I am, dancing on a beach, finding a connection between the waves of the sea and the fluid movements of Bharatanatyam.

A morning practice session by the sea in Reunion Island. The natural beauty of the landscape provides a serene and inspiring backdrop for dance.

A glimpse from my college days, performing Kathakali. The training was rigorous, starting at 4 AM, but it taught me discipline and gave me a deep appreciation for other classical art forms.

With my beloved Guruji, Saroja Vaidyanathan ji. She helped me take my first steps in dance, and her guidance has been a constant source of inspiration throughout my life.

Another cherished memory with Guruji. Her support was unwavering, and the values she instilled in me are the foundation of my own teaching today.

Guruji watching over me as I get my makeup done for a performance. Her presence was always a source of comfort and strength. I will miss her dearly.

A poignant moment from my dance drama "Panna Dhai," which premiered in Reunion Island. This production was a beautiful collaboration with the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation.

About My Performances & Journey

Dancing is not just about perfecting the Araimandi or Adavus; it is about how you carry that discipline onto the stage. Whether I am performing at the Namaste France festival in Paris or choreographing a piece on a beach, my focus remains on storytelling and the emotional connection of Bharatanatyam. You will see this same blend of rigorous Kalakshetra technique and emotive expression in my classes.

My journey as a dancer began at the age of seven, and my path has been illuminated by the guidance of legends like Guru Saroja Vaidyanathan ji. Being an alumnus of Kalakshetra taught me that dance requires unwavering discipline, but it also taught me that the art form must breathe. It is not enough to simply master the geometric precision of the movements; one must find the joy in the rhythm and the story within the Shlokas.

Over the years, my work has taken me to diverse stages, from the grand cultural festivals of France to intimate performances near the sea, where nature itself provides the backdrop. Producing dance dramas like 'Panna Dhai' in collaboration with the Maharana of Mewar Charitable Foundation was a reminder that Bharatanatyam is a powerful medium for history and narrative.

I carry these experiences into every session at my academy. When I teach, I am not just passing on steps. I am teaching students how to listen to the Talam, how to express Abhinaya, and how to treat their practice as a form of meditation. Whether you are a beginner looking to find your flow or someone returning to dance after a long break, I bring the same rigor I learned in my training days—balanced with a space where we can laugh, mess up, and grow together. Dance is, after all, a conversation between the body, the soul, and the audience.
