Innovative Facades & Structural Forms
A building's facade is its first impression. We believe it should be more than a skin; it should be a signature that defines the skyline while responding to the local climate.
The Palm Bellagio in Raipur, a completed project where we used contrast as a central theme. The organic, wave-like form of the building plan is contrasted with the linear, rhythmic pattern of the elevation, creating a dynamic and visually striking identity.
This blueprint shows the plan and elevation for Palm Bellagio. You can see how the flowing, organic layout of the podium level contrasts with the linear grid of the residential tower facade, a core concept of the project.
A closer look at the pools at Palm Bellagio. The rooftop infinity pool offers panoramic city views, while the ground-level pool is nestled within the building's curves, creating two distinct recreational experiences.
The landscaping at Palm Bellagio is designed to complement the architecture. This view through a red pergola frames the building's unique facade, showing how we integrate green spaces and structural elements to create a cohesive environment.
A glimpse of our Sikaria project in Guwahati, currently under construction. The facade design incorporates classical arches and details, and this rendering shows how carefully planned facade lighting will give the building a majestic glow at night.
An aerial view of the podium level of our Tropicano project in Guwahati. The rooftop is designed as a complete recreational zone with pools, gardens, and play areas, all following the signature curved facade of the building.
A day and night comparison of the Palm Bellagio in Raipur. This image highlights how the building's unique curved walls and facade lighting transform its appearance, creating an iconic landmark for the city around the clock.
The daytime view of our Tropicano project in Guwahati showcases the building's distinctive wavy facade. This mixed-use design combines retail at the base with residential towers that appear to ripple against the sky.
About Innovative Facades & Structural Forms
A facade is not just decoration; it is a structural conversation. When we designed Palm Bellagio in Raipur, we used organic, wave-like forms to break the linear monotony of the city skyline. These are not purely aesthetic choices; they manage light, improve airflow, and create distinct visual identities that set residential and commercial zones apart.
Architecture Beyond The Blueprint
We believe a facade is the signature of a project. Whether we are planning a high-rise in Guwahati or a villa in Lonavala, our goal is to ensure the building interacts with its environment rather than fighting it. We avoid copy-paste designs because every site has a unique language.
The Logic of Form
Our approach to structural forms involves deep consideration of local variables:
- Passive Cooling: In hot climates, we use structural perforations and jali patterns to reduce heat gain while maintaining natural ventilation.
- Materiality: We balance solid and perforated spaces to create a play of light and shadow, giving the building a different character from day to night.
- Terrain-Responsive Design: For hillside projects, we utilize stepped layouts that allow the architecture to merge with the natural contour of the land.
Notable Facade Concepts
- Palm Bellagio, Raipur: This project demonstrates our use of contrast. The organic, wave-like plan is wrapped in a linear, rhythmic elevation. The curves handle wind loads and create a distinct 'wave' identity that makes the structure iconic from every angle.
- Tropicano, Guwahati: Here, the facade design emphasizes a rippling effect. This is a functional choice to break down the massive scale of the high-rise, making it feel lighter and more elegant against the sky.
- Sikaria, Guwahati: In this project, we explored classical arches. The lighting scheme is integrated into the facade design itself, ensuring the building glows with a sense of presence even after sunset.
