About Special Programs & Events
Our focused cohorts are distinct from standard gym memberships. When you join a program like Project Move or Project Ignite, you are not just signing up for a class. You are committing to a closed group of 6 people for 4 to 6 weeks. This means you train with the same faces, avoiding the usual gym intimidation, while having a coach who tracks your specific progress, injuries, and capacity throughout the entire cycle.
We started Academy of Strength because we felt the fitness industry was obsessed with quick fixes and complicated machines. Our programs are the opposite. They are built on the idea that real strength is a process that requires consistency and the right environment.
Why our programs are different
Most gyms offer an open floor where you are left to your own devices. Our projects are different because they are linear and structured. You get a set schedule, a fixed group of peers, and a clear goal. Whether it is our women-only Project Move, which tackles core and pelvic floor health, or Project Ignite, our high-intensity track for athletic performance, you know exactly what you are working toward from day one.
The community factor
Fitness is hard to sustain alone. By keeping our cohort sizes small—capped at 6 participants—we ensure you get personal form correction and spinal alignment checks during every lift. You are not a number in a crowded hall. You are part of a small team that shows up for you. We have seen people go from total beginners to confident movers because they had the right support.
Skills and longevity
We also run Project Flex and various skill-based workshops to help you master movements like handstands or improve mobility. We don't just want you to train for the next few weeks. We want to teach you how to move your body in ways that keep you strong and injury-free for years to come. Whether you are training at our Indiranagar facility or our Whitefield space, the focus remains on real-world strength.
