My Studio: A Cave of Creation
A sanctuary I carved out myself, where raw textures, natural light, and organic forms define my creative process.
A walkthrough of my completed studio. The video shows how the sculpted, cave-like walls and ceiling flow through the space, complemented by custom-designed desks and seating areas. The lighting is designed to highlight the raw textures and create a warm, inspiring atmosphere.
From a simple sketch to a finished space. This video shows the evolution of my studio's entrance, highlighting the textured walls and the custom signage. It’s a small glimpse into how I bring a concept to life.
Here I am with one of my handcrafted metallic wall sculptures in the studio. For me, art and architecture are inseparable. This installation, with its organic form and textured surface, is a core part of the studio's identity.
The process of creating the studio's textured walls. This video shows the hands-on work of mixing and applying the material to build up the raw, earthy finish. It’s an experimental process that allows for unique, one-of-a-kind results.
About this collection
My studio isn't just an office, it's where my experiments happen before they reach your home. You will see walls finished with my signature lime wash and hand-sculpted textures that we can replicate for your interiors. It is a space where we test how light plays with raw surfaces, so you can see firsthand the difference between standard paint and a finish that actually has soul.
This studio is the heart of Aavyaktaya Architects. I built it not as a standard office, but as a sanctuary to test the limits of raw luxury. When you walk in, you feel the texture of the lime-washed walls and see how custom-cast brass handles catch the light. This is the physical proof of my 'minimum form, maximum calm' philosophy.
I believe design should not be separate from the human experience. My work starts with a raw slab of wood or a bucket of clay and ends with a finished space that brings 'sukh and sukoon' to your daily routine. In this studio, I spend hours mixing pigments for walls and experimenting with bamboo ceiling art to ensure that when I design for your home, the finish is tried and tested.
Whether you are looking for a grand dining table made from a single slab of Suar wood or a quiet corner featuring cave-inspired wall textures, the processes I refine here are what I bring to your project. We handle everything from the first concept sketch to the final site installation. My team and I focus on reclaimed materials and high-density foam cushioning for comfort, ensuring that each piece of furniture or structural installation is built to last.
My design approach is distinct because I do not work from a screen. I work with stone, metal, and wood. If you visit, you will often find me with my hands in the mud, working on the next sculpture or detail. It is this direct connection to the craft that defines the character of my work. If you want a space that feels lived-in, honest, and deeply personal, this is where we begin that journey together.
