About Commercial & Hospitality Design
Designing Spaces That Feel Alive
When I design a commercial or hospitality space, it's never just about walls and furniture. I want people to feel that sukh and sukoon (happiness and peace) the moment they walk in. Each project starts with a bit of kulbulahat (that restless spark) - that's when I know the idea's worth chasing.
Your Brand, Your Story
Every place tells a story. I dig deep to understand what makes your brand tick, whether it's a bakery, rooftop bar, or boutique hotel. The vibe matters. I mix moods, styles, and details so your customers get an experience, not just a pretty picture.
Vibes I Love to Create
- Bohemian & earthy: Bringing Goa or Tulum chill to city rooftops, with bamboo, rattan, and even dome cabanas.
- Biophilic design in hotels: Nature integrated with sculptural tree-like lighting, outdoor-indoor flow, and serpentine planters.
- Modern luxe interiors for restaurants: Think metallics, fluted textures, abstract art, and grand furniture for a bold statement.
- Minimalist commercial spaces: Wabi-Sabi roots, soft curves, mud textures, cave-like calm.
How I Work
From sketch to reality, I’m hands-on. I’m there for the messy stuff - mud, textures, site visits - making sure every detail lands. I use a wild mix of materials: wood, rattan, stone, and whatever feels right. Lighting’s a big deal. Custom chandeliers, fairy lights, or subtle uplighting, I use them to shape the vibe.
Few Projects
- Tipsy Town, Ayodhya: Turned a rooftop into an organic, enchanted hangout.
- Sesh, Delhi: Created a laid-back Goan escape with bamboo and cabanas.
- Sugar State Bakery: Minimal, earthy, curves everywhere - design meets dough.

My Story
I’m Akshay. Architecture for me? It’s sukh and sukoon, that feeling when you walk in and just smile. I get my hands muddy, carve wood, layer gold leaf—love the mess and the beauty. My studio’s a bit wild, ideas everywhere, sunlight pouring in. I pull from nature, keep things simple, let the wind do its thing. Clients start as strangers, end up family. I want every corner to have its own little story, kulbulahat always.
