Forget the vanity machines. Here at 1026, we focus on functional strength and raw grit. Train barefoot on our matted floors with a group that pushes you past your comfort zone every single day.
A glimpse into the intensity of our conditioning classes. This video shows members using battle ropes and performing deadlifts in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
This unique partner drill is a full-body conditioning exercise that builds strength, endurance, and trust between training partners.
This montage shows key components of our conditioning workouts: battle ropes for power endurance, box jumps for explosive power, and barbell lifts for strength.
Wall sits are a simple but brutal test of endurance. Here, our members hold the position as part of a fun but challenging conditioning circuit.
About this collection
These aren't your typical 45-minute gym sessions. You get two full hours of functional training on our matted floors, strictly barefoot, using free weights and bodyweight circuits. We don't have isolation machines here; we focus on compound movements like deadlifts and squats, designed to build raw power rather than just aesthetic definition.
The 1026 Training Approach
We strip away the noise. In our high-intensity group workouts, the focus is on three things: technique, repetition, and community. Whether you are aiming for fat loss, muscle gain, or preparing for a fight, you follow a structure that delivers results.
Why We Train Differently
- No Isolation Machines: You will not find fancy benches or cable machines that isolate a single muscle. We use Olympic barbells, kettlebells, and bodyweight movements because that is how you build real-world strength.
- Two-Hour Sessions: Most gyms rush you out in under an hour. Our batches are two hours long. This gives us enough time for a proper mobility warm-up, intense compound lifting, a metabolic conditioning circuit, and a cool-down stretch.
- Barefoot Training: We train on 1-inch thick EVA puzzle mats. This forces you to engage your stabilizing muscles and improves your proprioception, which is critical if you ever plan to step onto the mats for combat training.
Who is this for?
We keep the vibe inclusive but the work ethic high. You will find competitive fighters training alongside parents and working professionals. Everyone is there to put in the work. The environment is non-AC with natural cross-ventilation, echoing with constant encouragement—and occasionally some yelling—to ensure you finish the set.
Pricing and Consistency
We believe in commitment. Our quarterly packages are designed to lower your effective monthly cost and keep you accountable to your goals. When you sign up, you aren't just getting access to weights; you are joining a group that expects you to show up, work hard, and help your training partner do the same.
1026 MMA Academy
At 1026, I treat every member like family, not a subscription number. Whether you are walking in to lose weight or prep for a fight, my team and I are in your corner, yelling for that extra rep until you hit your goal.
