About this collection
Many people hesitate because they think they need to be flexible to start yoga. My studio is different. We do not just use mats; we use ropes, chairs, and blocks to modify every pose to fit your body, not the other way around. Whether you are 15 or 70, you do not come here ready; you come here to get ready.
At my studio on Varthur Main Road, we strip away the intimidation factor. If you see a photo of a perfect headstand and think, 'I can never do that,' you are looking at the destination, not the path. My role is to help you build the strength and awareness to get there safely.
Why we use props
You will see ropes, chairs, and blocks in our studio. These aren't just for beginners. They are tools for anatomy. A block brings the floor closer, a rope wall allows for traction in inversions, and a chair provides support for deep backbends. By using these, we remove the fear of injury and allow your muscles to engage correctly.
What to expect in a session
My classes are not a silent, meditative drift. You will work hard. You will be held accountable. If your alignment is off, I will correct you. My students often joke that my training is good and my scolding is just as good, but that is how we ensure you actually grow. We work on core strength, hip opening, and inversions, all while maintaining a consistent rhythm.
Join the practice
We cap our batches at 25 students so you get the attention you need. We are located in Gunjur, providing a consistent space for residents of Varthur and surrounding areas to show up, breathe, and practice together. This isn't about looking a certain way; it is about feeling strong in the body you have today.
Shashi Prabha Dwivedi
Hey, I’m Shashi. I run this studio with a simple rule: if you can breathe, you can do yoga. I am not here to watch you pose; I am here to watch you grow, using props to bridge the gap between where you are and where you want to be. Expect honesty, a bit of tough love, and a group that actually feels like family.
