Pilates for Women's Health & Pelvic Floor Recovery
Forget the generic gym routines that ignore what your body actually needs. These sessions are about real, rehab-focused recovery—helping you regain core strength and manage symptoms like prolapse through breathwork and targeted movement.
This is a look at my specialized 'Pilates for Prolapse' program. We use gentle, targeted mat exercises like the Single Bridge Cross Press and Inverted Open Book to strengthen the glutes, learn proper breathwork, and release the pelvic floor. It's about creating real, sustainable change.
About Specialized Programs for Women's Health
When you are dealing with something like bladder prolapse or postnatal instability, the goal is not to sweat until you drop but to retrain your core to function again. In these sessions, we focus on controlled, gentle movements like the Single Bridge Cross Press or Inverted Open Book to strengthen your glutes and release the pelvic floor. It is about learning to breathe into your diaphragm rather than clenching, giving your body the space it actually needs to heal from within.
Healing is not linear, and it certainly does not happen by just pushing through pain. I built this program because I know how frustrating it is to feel disconnected from your own body. Whether you are managing cystocele (bladder prolapse) or looking to rebuild your core after delivery, you need a different approach than standard high-intensity fitness.
My sessions in Model Town prioritize quality over intensity. We incorporate hypopressive breathing techniques that act as a internal vacuum to support pelvic floor health, combined with careful muscle activation. We move away from the 'no pain, no gain' mindset that often causes more harm than good in these cases. We look at the whole picture—your lifestyle, your stress levels, and your daily movement patterns. This is not about chasing a specific body type; it is about reclaiming your mobility and confidence. If you have been told to just 'live with it' or rely solely on medication, come and see how consistent, smart movement can change your reality.
