Spiritual & Mindful Yoga Practices
Yoga is a path to connect with your soul through chanting, breathwork, and meditation. Join me in moving with intention, where every breath becomes a prayer.
Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu. May all beings everywhere be happy and free. Inspired by the Bihar School of Yoga, I believe every asana can become a meditation, and every breath a prayer.
Feeling stressed or unable to sleep? Sound can heal you naturally. I use sound therapy to lower stress levels, reduce anxiety, and improve sleep and mental clarity. Try it, feel it, heal it.
Meditation before sleep reduces stress and enhances sleep quality. By slowing the heart rate and focusing thoughts, we cleanse our minds and allow for subconscious healing to continue effortlessly.
I practice Bhakti Yoga during Brahma Muhurta, the sacred time before dawn. It is not about religion, but about showing gratitude to the highest energy with a pure heart, cleansing the mind, heart, and soul.
Why do we need to meditate? Just as we feed our bodies, meditation feeds our minds. Practices like Vipassana foster mindfulness, reduce suffering, and promote mental clarity and personal growth.
When you visit a place of nature, do you ever sit quietly and feel its energy? Try meditating for a while, listening to the sounds of nature. It is a powerful way to connect and find a silent, relaxed mind.
Using the Gyana mudra, or wisdom mudra, can enhance concentration and reduce negativity. I pair this with diaphragm breathing before I work or study to relax my mind and enhance my focus.
I start my day with a natural homemade medicine of neem and turmeric. This sacred blend purifies the blood, boosts immunity, and supports my spiritual practice for a deeper sadhana.
I love to start my day with a refreshing, homemade herbal tea. Packed with tulsi, ginger, and Indian spices, this tea detoxifies my body, boosts my immunity, and calms my mind.
Maha Shivaratri is a night of deep surrender. I bow before yoga, for yoga itself is Shiva, the Adiyogi. This practice is a path to self-realization, dissolving the 'I' into the vastness of existence.
About Spiritual & Mindful Practices
My practice centers on the 'Sthira Sukham Āsanam' principle—that balance between steady and comfortable. We do not chase perfect poses here; instead, we use Ujjayi breath, meditation, and sound healing to ground the nervous system and clear the mind long before we ever touch a yoga mat.
Beyond the Physical Asana
For me, yoga is not about how far you can stretch, but how deep you can listen. My classes are grounded in the Bihar School of Yoga tradition, focusing on the subtler aspects of the practice: the connection between mind, body, and breath.
What to Expect
- Sound Healing: I use the vibrations of singing bowls and sound therapy to help release stored stress, anxiety, and sleep issues. It is a natural, gentle way to restore the nervous system.
- Breathwork (Pranayama): We use Ujjayi breath to anchor the mind, creating a sound like ocean waves that synchronizes our internal rhythm.
- Meditation & Chanting: We practice mindfulness during the sacred Brahma Muhurta and utilize Sanskrit chants like 'Lokah Samastah Sukhino Bhavantu' to foster a sense of universal compassion and gratitude.
My Philosophy
I believe in consistency and surrender. Whether you are dealing with burnout, looking to improve sleep quality, or seeking a spiritual anchor in a busy city, these practices offer a space to retreat. You don't need to be flexible to start. You only need to be willing to sit quietly, observe your breath, and find the stillness that resides within you. If you are struggling with stress or feeling disconnected, know that these tools—mudras, breathwork, and simple mindfulness—can change your daily experience, one session at a time.
