About Yoga Instruction
My Approach
Yoga is my way of finding that sweet spot between strength and calm. I don’t believe in pushing the body or chasing flexibility. For me, it’s about tuning in, moving with intention, and letting breath guide you. I stick to the idea of Sthira Sukham Āsanam - every pose should feel steady and comfortable, not forced.
What Happens in Class
- Alignment and mindful movement come first. I’ll help you build a strong base, so you move safely.
- Breathwork is a big part of my sessions, especially Ujjayi breath. It helps you focus and settle the mind.
- We go beyond just poses - expect some chanting, meditation, and a bit of soul work.
- Props like blocks and hammocks aren’t cheats, they’re tools to help you understand your body better.
Styles I Teach
- Mysore style yoga instruction: Move at your own pace, with hands-on guidance for breath, bandhas, and drishti.
- Flow yoga (Vinyasa, Yin & Yang): Breath-led movement, mixing effort and stillness.
- Aerial yoga: Hammocks make tough poses playful and help decompress the spine.
- Therapeutic yoga for pain relief: If you’ve got back, neck, or knee issues, I’ll show you safe ways to build strength and ease discomfort.
Special Focus: Women's Wellness
- Yoga for women's wellness at every stage - pre/post-natal, hormonal balance, menstrual health. I’ve been there, and I share what’s worked for me.
- Gentle, modified practices for pelvic floor, back tension, and overall well-being.
How We Practice
- Online classes for flexibility.
- Private therapy sessions for tailored support.
- Small group classes for a close-knit vibe.
Sometimes, I just sit quietly and think, Prakritir kolat xanti pao mone mone (I find peace in nature's lap, in my own mind). I teach with an open heart, hoping you find your own peace too.

My Story
Hi, I’m Geetanjali. Assamor suwali (girl from Assam), my heart beats for green fields, khichdi, and the smell of earth after rain. Big city, tall buildings, but sometimes I just miss the stars. One night in the desert, I remembered who I was. My mornings start with jaal neti, herbal tea, and my daughter’s sleepy face. Life’s not always easy, but now I feel light, alive, and finally, myself. Protito botahor niswasot punor jibon jaage (with every breath, life wakes up again).
My Work
Yoga, Pilates, Breathwork, Sound Healing - I guide you through Yin & Yang Flow yoga, Chandra Namaskar sessions, pilates (mat and reformer), personalized breathwork, and sound healing meditation.
Strength with Calm - We move slow, with intention, not for perfection but balance. Mind and body connect, one breath at a time.
Yoga as Life - I follow Bihar School of Yoga and ashtanga tradition. For me, every asana is a meditation, every breath a prayer.
Walk the Talk - I only teach what I practise. My classes come from my own journey, not just theory.
Your Journey, Your Pace - No rush. Whether you’re new or experienced, we grow together, step by step, inside out.
