About Pilates Instruction
Why I Teach Pilates
Movement is my way of tuning into myself. Pilates, for me, is not just exercise - it’s how I find strength and calm at the same time. I blend what I’ve learned from yoga into my Pilates sessions, so you get a mix of mindful movement and body awareness. It’s not about pushing hard or rushing, but about moving with intention and finding that inner xanti (peace).
How My Classes Work
- Every session is about connecting breath and movement. We move slow, we move with control.
- I pay close attention to your form - how your core is working, how your spine lines up, how your shoulders feel. This keeps things safe and helps you get the most out of each exercise.
- I believe in “Sthira Sukham Āsanam” - steady and comfortable. We look for that sweet spot where you feel challenged but not strained.
What You’ll Experience
- On the reformer, we use the machine to support and challenge you. Sometimes we add the jumpboard for a bit of fun, low-impact cardio. Duet sessions are also an option if you want to work out with a friend.
- Mat Pilates is all about using your own body weight and props like resistance bands or stability balls. It’s a solid way to build core strength and stability.
Why People Come To Me
- Build deep core strength and improve posture
- Increase flexibility and spinal mobility
- Rehab old injuries or prevent new ones
- Find mental focus and calm through mindful movement Pilates
I welcome everyone - beginners, athletes, new moms, anyone wanting to reconnect with their body. If you’re looking for Pilates for core strength or just want to try Pilates reformer classes, I’m here to guide you, step by step.

My Story
Hi, I’m Geetanjali. Assamor suwali (girl from Assam), my heart beats for green fields, khichdi, and the smell of earth after rain. Big city, tall buildings, but sometimes I just miss the stars. One night in the desert, I remembered who I was. My mornings start with jaal neti, herbal tea, and my daughter’s sleepy face. Life’s not always easy, but now I feel light, alive, and finally, myself. Protito botahor niswasot punor jibon jaage (with every breath, life wakes up again).
My Work
Yoga, Pilates, Breathwork, Sound Healing - I guide you through Yin & Yang Flow yoga, Chandra Namaskar sessions, pilates (mat and reformer), personalized breathwork, and sound healing meditation.
Strength with Calm - We move slow, with intention, not for perfection but balance. Mind and body connect, one breath at a time.
Yoga as Life - I follow Bihar School of Yoga and ashtanga tradition. For me, every asana is a meditation, every breath a prayer.
Walk the Talk - I only teach what I practise. My classes come from my own journey, not just theory.
Your Journey, Your Pace - No rush. Whether you’re new or experienced, we grow together, step by step, inside out.
