Join My In-Person Yoga Workshops in Bengaluru
Screens are fine, but nothing beats practicing together. From open-air flows in Cubbon Park to focused studio sessions in Koramangala, these workshops are where we connect, breathe, and reset as a community.
A personal invitation to my next offline yoga workshop in Bengaluru. We'll move through asanas, calm the nervous system with pranayama, improve concentration with Trataka (candle gazing), and end with a rejuvenating guided Shavasana. It's a complete reset.
An example of a past event I hosted for International Yoga Day. I love finding beautiful, serene locations around Bengaluru for us to practice together. Keep an eye out for my next sunset yoga session!
A look back at a wonderful session at The Isle by Wonderla. Guiding a group in such a tranquil space is a joy. These community events are what make in-person yoga in Bengaluru so special.
I had the honor of being a judge at a yoga competition for kids from government schools. It was a heartwarming day celebrating the dedication of these young yogis. Community events like these are a huge part of my journey.
About Join My Bengaluru Workshops
I don't have one fixed studio, and that's intentional. Sometimes we’re under the trees at Cubbon Park, and other times we’re in a quiet Koramangala studio with mirrors for proper alignment. My sessions aren't just about 'getting fit'—we work on specific techniques like Trataka or hip mobility, and we always, always end with a long, guided Shavasana. If you’re unsure which workshop suits your current level, just ping me; I’ll tell you if a high-energy flow or a therapeutic session is better for your body right now.
How I structure my workshops
I break my offline practice into three clear formats, because I know we all need different things on different days.
- Outdoor Community Flow: These are for when the weather is kind and you want to move with a crowd. We keep it open-access, usually at spots like Cubbon Park. It's Hatha-Vinyasa focused—lots of Surya Namaskara to get the heart rate up, followed by breathwork. Bring your own mat, your water, and your best energy.
- Indoor Themed Workshops: These are more focused. We’ll meet in a studio in Koramangala or nearby, where we have mirrors to fix your posture. I pack these with specific practices—sometimes it’s a deep dive into hip openers, other times we explore Trataka (candle gazing) for mental clarity. We usually end with light snacks so we can actually talk to each other.
- Small Group Therapeutic Intensives: If you have back pain, are dealing with hormonal issues, or just need a lot of guidance, this is the one for you. I cap these at 15 people so I can actually come around and fix your alignment. We use props here—belts, blocks, the works—to get into poses safely.
Why the 'strictness'?
Aiyo, I know I can be a bit demanding about form. But I promise it comes from a place of safety. When you are holding a pose, I want you to feel the stretch in the right place, not in your joints. My goal is to make sure you leave the mat feeling stronger than when you stepped on it, not just tired. Whether you are a total beginner or someone who has been practicing for years, I'll make sure you are safe. Come, join us in namma Bengaluru.
