About Online Group Yoga Classes
What My Online Yoga Sessions Are Like
People say I’m a little strict, but honestly, it’s because I want you to do the practice safely and with real focus. I mix in a bit of humour, though, so it’s not all “discipline, discipline, discipline” every time. For me, yoga isn’t about showing off – it’s about tuning in and finding what works for your body and mind, even if your downward dog looks more like a slouching puppy.
Who Joins These Classes
- Perfect for beginners or anyone at an intermediate level.
- Want to build a regular routine without leaving home? You’ll fit right in.
- We work on strength, flexibility, and mobility, not just stretching.
- Special focus if you have health stuff going on - PCOS, thyroid, wonky periods, or that back pain from too much laptop time.
- If you’re looking for group yoga for stress relief, you’ll find it here.
What Happens in a Session
Each class is 75 minutes and covers:
- Warm-ups to get moving slowly
- A mix of standing, seated, and flowing (guided online vinyasa class) asanas, with lots of attention on alignment
- Breathwork (pranayama) like Nadi Shuddhi and Kapalbhati
- Short guided meditation
- Shavasana to finish – don’t skip, ok? It’s actually the main thing!
My Style: Props & Progress
I use props a lot – anything from yoga blocks to pillows. No fancy gear needed, we work with what you have at home. Women’s health yoga online is a big focus for me, and I create flows for things like back pain and hormonal balance. I don’t rush anyone into “Insta poses” – we build up slowly and safely, step by step.
Timings
We meet three times a week, with batches in the morning, midday, and evening (all IST). No pressure to be perfect, just show up and try.
Aiyo, don’t worry if you can’t touch your toes yet. We’ll get there, one breath at a time.

My Story
Hey, I'm Apoorva. Yoga for me is more than just a certificate, it's how I live, thanks to all the gurus before us. Had a gut surgery recently - trust me, lying down for a week taught me that pausing isn’t giving up. I love sarees (Mysore silk is my jam), painting when I get time, and decking up for Varamahalakshmi Habba. Yoga, art, tradition - all mixed up in my life, finding joy in small things.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Workshops - I offer online yoga for spinal health, hip mobility, hormonal balance, and offline workshops in Bengaluru.
Teaching Style - Bit of humour, lots of alignment and breath work. I’ll say, 'ಏ, surya namaskara with love ma!' but safety first.
Using Props - Chairs, blocks, belts - we use them to get stronger and confident, not as shortcuts.
Who Can Join - Desk job folks, back pain, tight hips, women’s health, or anyone wanting mindful practice.
