Why Yoga Feels Different With Me
Some say I’m a bit strict, but mostly, I just want you to get the best out of your practice. I mix a bit of humour with a lot of real talk. After a road accident in 2020, doctors told me yoga was out of my life for good - but patience, therapy, and mindful movement brought me back. So trust me, I know what it means when your body says "enough".
How I Work
It’s not just about asanas. I keep it real:
- Mindful movement for your health issues (no need to twist like a murukku)
- Clean, doable nutrition tweaks
- Prioritising deep, actual rest
- Simple pranayama for stress (Nadi Shuddhi, Bhramari - these really help calm your headspace)
All online, all at your pace. We’ll use whatever’s at home - pillows, chairs, whatever - to make practice safe.
What I Focus On
I run targeted programs for:
- Women's health (PCOS, periods, fertility). Lots of hormone balance work. Think Butterfly and Garland pose flows.
- Chronic pain relief for back, hips, and posture - especially if you’re desk-bound and everything feels tight.
- Yoga for diabetes support and thyroid - with safe pose variations for real bodies.
Stress is always part of the picture, so breathwork is a must. I keep it simple, but no shortcuts - real work happens on the mat, not just in talk.

My Story
Hey, I'm Apoorva. Yoga for me is more than just a certificate, it's how I live, thanks to all the gurus before us. Had a gut surgery recently - trust me, lying down for a week taught me that pausing isn’t giving up. I love sarees (Mysore silk is my jam), painting when I get time, and decking up for Varamahalakshmi Habba. Yoga, art, tradition - all mixed up in my life, finding joy in small things.
My Work
Yoga Classes & Workshops - I offer online yoga for spinal health, hip mobility, hormonal balance, and offline workshops in Bengaluru.
Teaching Style - Bit of humour, lots of alignment and breath work. I’ll say, 'ಏ, surya namaskara with love ma!' but safety first.
Using Props - Chairs, blocks, belts - we use them to get stronger and confident, not as shortcuts.
Who Can Join - Desk job folks, back pain, tight hips, women’s health, or anyone wanting mindful practice.
