About Your Yoga Journey Starts Here
Yoga isn't about looking perfect in a pose, especially when you're just starting out. In these flows, we focus on learning how to breathe with intention while your body adjusts to new movements. It’s normal to feel a bit stiff at first, so don't be hard on yourself if you can't touch your toes—we use modifications to ensure you stay safe and steady.
Your First Steps in Yoga
Starting yoga in a busy city like Bengaluru can feel overwhelming, but it doesn't have to be. Whether you are dealing with a desk-job backache or just want to move your body with more ease, these beginner-friendly sequences are designed to build a strong, sustainable foundation.
What You Can Expect
- Foundational Asanas: We break down essential poses like Tadasana (Mountain Pose) and Setu Bandhasana (Bridge Pose) to ensure you understand the mechanics before moving into dynamic flows.
- Breath Awareness: It's not just physical. I focus heavily on syncing breath with movement, which helps calm the mind and manage the daily hustle in namma Bengaluru.
- Safety & Props: Beginners often think they need extreme flexibility. You don't. We use blocks, chairs, or simply work with the body's current range to prevent injury and build steady strength.
A Gentle Reminder
My approach is all about safety first. If you feel pain, stop. If you're tired, lie down in Shavasana. I am quite strict about form because that’s what keeps you practicing for the long haul. You don't need fancy equipment—just a mat, some water, and a bit of patience. Ready to roll out your mat?
