Aerial Yoga Classes in Bengaluru
Ever wanted to float or hang upside down? Aerial yoga is all about play, balance, and a little bit of magic. Whether you are a total beginner or just looking to stretch out those desk-job aches, we will explore it all safely with the hammock as our partner.
This is the heart of what we do in my aerial yoga classes: finding your flow. Here you can see how we use the soft hammock to gracefully move into an inversion. It's a wonderful way to build core strength and experience the feeling of floating, and I'll be there to guide you through every step.
Aerial yoga isn't just about one type of movement. In this short sequence, you can see how we use the hammock for everything from deep backbends to working on flexibility for splits. The fabric supports your body, helping you explore poses you never thought possible.
Everyone starts somewhere, and safety is my top priority. This clip shows a moment from my own training, highlighting how an instructor provides support. In my classes, I offer the same hands-on guidance to make sure you feel secure and confident as you learn.
And this is me, Nidhi! Whether I'm in a posture or just taking a moment between classes, my goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable and encouraged. I look forward to welcoming you to the studio.
About Featured
The hammock is actually your safety net, not something to fear. Most people worry about balancing or falling, but we start with weight dumping techniques that get you comfortable with the fabric first. It is a game-changer for desk-job back pain—hanging upside down just for a few minutes can do wonders for your spine, and I am there to spot you every step of the way.
Finding Your Balance in the Air
Aerial yoga is a unique way to deepen your practice. By using a soft, low-stretch nylon hammock, we can support your body in ways that a standard mat just cannot. This allows you to explore deeper stretches and inversions without putting unnecessary strain on your joints.
What We Focus On
- Spinal Decompression: This is the big one for anyone with a desk job. Hanging upside down uses gravity to gently create space between your vertebrae. It feels incredible after a long day of sitting.
- Core Engagement: You will be surprised at how much your core has to work just to stabilize yourself in the hammock. It is a workout that feels more like play than gym time.
- Beginner Safety: If you have never done this, do not worry. We begin with basic rigging and ground-level poses. I provide hands-on spotting to ensure you feel secure while you learn the ropes—literally.
Practical Details
I run these sessions at my studio in Bengaluru with a focus on a relaxed, non-judgmental environment. Whether you choose a single drop-in trial or commit to a monthly pass, my goal is the same: to get you feeling comfortable, energized, and a little braver on the mat. We cover everything from simple hip openers to more complex flows, and we always finish with a cocoon savasana, which is quite possibly the most relaxing part of the day.
