This is part of a series on mindfulness exercises. The first step is always mindful breathing: focusing on, counting, and being aware of your breath. This is the same as media 53.
The second mindfulness exercise is a gratitude practice. Taking a few moments to think of something you are grateful for can powerfully shift your mindset. This is the same as media 58.

About Additional Work & Inspiration
Yoga is often misunderstood as just physical exercise, but for me, it is the mental anchor that gets me through the day. In this collection, I share the specific mindfulness habits, like intentional breathwork and gratitude practices, that I personally rely on to manage stress and stay grounded, whether I am balancing motherhood or navigating hormonal changes.
My practice goes beyond the mat. When we talk about wellness, we often focus only on the physical, but true health requires a connection between your mind, your breath, and your life off the mat.
Why These Practices Matter
Modern life, especially as a mother, is full of constant shifts. Whether you are dealing with PCOD, thyroid imbalances, or simply the exhaustion of daily life, these small routines act as a reset button.
- Mindfulness: It is not about clearing your mind completely. It is about becoming aware of where your thoughts are going.
- Consistency: I often say that 10 minutes of consistent practice is far more valuable than one hour once a week. My goal is to make yoga feel like a natural part of your day, not a chore you need to schedule hours for.
- Ayurveda & Breath: These are not just buzzwords. Integrating simple principles like Nadi Shodhana (breath regulation) or understanding your own body's signals helps you regain agency over your health.
My Approach
You will see me sharing quotes, meme-style reminders, and real, raw moments. I believe that if I can squeeze in a few minutes of chanting or stretching while my child crawls around, you can find your space too. This is not about perfectly posed photos; it is about finding a way to show up for yourself. If you are ready to move beyond the theory and start building these habits, let's talk about what works for you.
