Improve Digestion and Detox Naturally with Yoga
Bloating and acidity do not have to be your daily companions. I teach simple yogic techniques, from morning rituals to cleansing kriyas, to help your gut function better every day.
If you often feel constipated or have irregular bowel movements, yoga can help. This video shows poses like Malasana that stimulate digestion and promote regularity. Practice every morning for a great start to your day.
Vayu Nishkasana, the Wind Releasing Pose, offers amazing benefits for your digestive system. It helps relieve gas and bloating, strengthens abdominal muscles, and eases lower back tension.
Do you experience gas, acidity, or bloating? Pushan Mudra, the gesture of digestion, can help. This hand gesture, combined with Vajrasana, improves gastric health and provides relief after a heavy meal.

This is a demonstration of Jal Neti, an important cleansing technique from the yogic Shatkarmas. It involves using a neti pot to clear the nasal passages, which can relieve sinus issues, improve breathing, and enhance mental clarity.
The right way to drink water, according to Ayurveda, is to sip it slowly. Drinking water in Malasana in the morning rehydrates the body, jumpstarts your metabolism, and aids in detoxification.
About Improve Digestion & Detox Naturally
You do not need a total lifestyle overhaul to see a difference. Most of my clients find that starting with just five minutes of Malasana while drinking their morning water changes their bowel habits within a week. It is a small shift, but it helps the body release what it does not need naturally.
Digestion is not just about what you eat, it is about how your body processes it. In my sessions, we move beyond just 'doing yoga' to understanding how specific movements like Vayu Nishkasana and Kati Chakrasana directly massage the abdominal organs to stimulate digestion. If you are struggling with chronic bloating or constipation, I guide you through Shatkarma techniques like Jal Neti to clear your nasal passages, which paradoxically helps improve your overall respiratory and digestive flow.
We also look at simple mudras, like the Pushan Mudra, which I often recommend doing in Vajrasana after heavy meals to ease that post-lunch heaviness. Whether you are dealing with PCOD-related digestive issues or general stress-induced acidity, I help you adapt these poses to your current flexibility. We do not do cookie-cutter routines here. If you have limited mobility or are a complete beginner, we use household furniture to support you while you build the habit. My goal is to help you feel lighter and more energetic, without relying on quick fixes.
