About Yoga for Digestion & Metabolism
Many people struggle with consistency because they feel uncomfortable in deep twists or forward bends. My therapy approach uses specific props like wooden benches and wall ropes to support your body during these movements. This support allows you to hold the asana long enough to actually stimulate digestive organs, rather than just stretching muscles, which is how we get real results.
Why Digestive Yoga Works
Digestion is not just about what you eat. It is about how well your body processes that fuel. In yoga, we focus on 'Agni' or digestive fire. When this is low, you face issues like acidity, bloating, and stubborn metabolism. We fix this by massaging the abdominal organs using specific twists and forward bends.
My Approach to Metabolism
I don't expect you to tie yourself into knots. Whether you are dealing with PCOD, diabetes, or fatty liver, we modify the poses. For example, using a chair for a twist or a bench for a backbend allows you to target the pancreas and liver without putting unnecessary strain on your back or knees.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I do this if I have never done yoga? Yes. In fact, my program is designed for people who have limited mobility. We use props so you can practice safely from day one.
How does this help with diabetes? Specific twisting postures, like Matsyendrasana, compress and release the pancreas. This helps in regulating its function and, in turn, blood sugar levels.
Will I get a diet plan? I provide basic guidelines on a yogic diet to support your practice, but my main focus is on the physical asana therapy that triggers metabolic healing.
