Judo and Grappling: Master Leverage and Control
Forget the fancy machines. On our mats, it is all about balance, leverage, and real technique. Learn to use an opponent's strength against them.
Our Judo class is a journey of strength, discipline, and respect. This session covers everything from warm-up drills and break falls to technical instruction on throws and grappling.
A perfect demonstration of technique over strength. This video captures a clean Judo takedown, showcasing the precision we teach in our grappling classes.
About The Gentle Way: Judo & Grappling
Our Judo and grappling sessions are not about mindless lifting. You will learn to fall safely, break grips, and execute clean throws using leverage, not brute force. Whether you are prepping for MMA or just want to learn practical self-defense, these technical drills will force you to think on your feet.
In our Mira Road and Ghatkopar studios, we keep it raw. There is no AC here, just the mats, the gi, and the grind. We break down the art of fighting into two parts: tachi-waza (standing techniques) for throws and ne-waza (ground techniques) for control.
We focus on real-world application, not just competition points. You will drill the basics of balance until they become muscle memory, ensuring you stay grounded even when someone is trying to take you down. It is not just for competitive fighters; it is for everyone, from office folks wanting a stress-busting workout to kids who need to learn focus and discipline.
You will sweat, you will get thrown, and you will get back up. That is the Xtrem9 way. Come prepared to work hard, respect your partners, and leave your ego at the door.
