About Our Fight Team
Forget the fancy gym equipment; the real work happens in the cage. When you join our fight team, you’re not just learning techniques, you’re preparing for the mental and physical grind of actual competition. We’ll teach you how to read an opponent, manage your weight, and stay calm when the pressure is on.
Stepping into the ring isn’t for everyone, but if you’ve got the hunger, we’ll provide the structure. At Xtrem9, our fight team is the elite end of our family. Whether you are eyeing the amateur circuit or just want to test your limits with serious Muay Thai or boxing, we break down your journey into three distinct phases.
First, it’s the conditioning engine. You’ll be doing the same brutal tyre flips and battle rope circuits as the rest of the gym, but with an eye on endurance for those long three-minute rounds. Second, technical drilling. We don’t care if you look cool; we care if your jab lands. We drill combinations until your muscle memory takes over, forcing you to focus on the 'why' behind every strike.
Finally, the sparring. This is where the magic happens. We run controlled sessions in our boxing ring and MMA cage. It’s safe, but it’s real. You’ll learn how to handle the pressure of an opponent who is actually fighting back, not just hitting a bag. We handle everything from hand wraps and gum shield setups to teaching you how to read your opponent’s guard.
We’ve got fighters across categories, from Bantamweight to Heavyweight, and we’ve seen them rise through the ranks at tournaments like WAKO.
