About Shotokan Karate Classes
OSS. For us, karate is way more than kicks and punches. It’s about showing up, respecting your Sensei and dojo-mates, and growing in discipline every day. Our classes feel like family - we sweat it out together, celebrate wins (big or small), and always push each other to do better.
How We Train
Everything starts with the basics - what we call Kihon. Stances, punches, blocks, kicks: we drill them till they’re second nature. Then comes Kata, the heart of traditional Shotokan training. These forms teach balance, timing, and focus. Finally, there’s Kumite - sparring with partners, where you put your skills to the test in a safe, controlled space.
Your Progress
We use a Shotokan belt grading system, so you’ll always know where you stand. Belt exams are tough, but you’ll earn every stripe. Make it all the way and you could get a black belt certificate from WSKF Japan - that’s a proud moment.
More Than Martial Arts
Discipline and respect come first - from the bow at the door to how we treat each other. We also teach real-world self-defense, so you can walk with confidence. The best part? You’ll be part of a close-knit karate family.
Who Can Join & Where
Kids, teens, adults - everyone’s welcome. We have dojos across Bangalore, including Konanakunte, Falcon City, Purva Belmont, and Mahavir Palms. Whether you’re just starting out or looking for karate self-defense classes, you’ll fit right in.
