About this collection
These styles look intimidating because of the speed, but it is not about complex footwork. It is about that 'bouncy' attitude. We strip away the rigidity so you can finally relax your knees, play with the rhythm, and stop worrying about making mistakes.
Pachanga and Boogaloo are the secret sauce if you want to stand out on the social floor. Pachanga is all about that relentless, bouncy energy. If your knees aren't tired, you probably aren't doing it right! We focus on those sharp, staccato footwork patterns that make you feel lighter and more agile in your social dancing.
On the other hand, Boogaloo is purely about the funk. It is less about rigid counts and more about feeling the old-school Latin rhythms. When I teach this, we do not stress about being 'on 1' or 'on 2.' We look for the groove in the music, just like the legendary Jimmy Bosch tracks we use in class.
Whether you are hosting a festival or a studio event, I tailor these modules to ensure everyone leaves with a smile, not a headache. We start with body isolation, move to footwork variations, and end with social application. No perfect, rehearsed routines here, just real movement that you can actually use when you hit the dance floor.
