Forget perfect choreographies. Dominican Bachata is about the conversation between partners, the rhythm in your feet, and the pure joy of connecting on the dance floor.

Felt cute, so I danced some Bachata to an evergreen track by Luis Vargas. This is what I love about this dance, it's perfect for any mood and any moment.

Dancing with one of my favorite Dominican Bachateras. This collaboration came together so quickly and was so much fun. It's always a joy to connect with dancers who share the same passion.

One of the benefits of Dominican Bachata is that you can dance it anywhere, even in a small space behind the DJ console. It's all about that close connection and musical fun.

A very happy birthday to my amazing student and friend. It's been a joy to watch you grow as a dancer and to share our love for Dominican Bachata.

When less is more. This dance is all about the groove and the connection, not about flashy moves. I'm so proud of how far my student Rohit has come.

This dance with Edwin is a perfect example of sublime connection and intricate musicality. Every movement is a reaction, a part of a conversation. This is the soul of Dominican Bachata.

Bachata con Sentimento! Dancing with JR is always a soulful experience. This is what traditional Bachata is all about: feeling the music, connecting with your partner, and telling a story.

A bittersweet Bachata moment. I'm so proud to see my student Rohit grow as a dancer, but sad to see him go. Wishing him all the best and many more great Bachata dances.

Styling is a personal choice. In Bachata, do what makes you feel good and confident. Here's a fun little session with my friend, just playing with our individual styles.

About Dominican Bachata: The Art of Connection

I do not teach steps; I teach you to listen. In my sessions, we skip the complicated counts and focus on the 'unka chaka' rhythms to help you actually feel the music in your body. It is about finding that natural groove where you and your partner just click, regardless of how long you have been dancing.
