Community Drum Circles for Healing and Connection
Join our monthly rhythmic gatherings where collective energy meets healing. Whether you are a beginner or a regular, come find your beat and reconnect with yourself in our sacred Indiranagar space.
Rhythmic drumming calms the nervous system and helps release emotional blockages. In our circles, we create a space where the collective rhythm fosters a deep sense of unity and supports emotional and spiritual healing.
Join our monthly drum circle to connect through rhythm, breath, and presence. This video shows our community gathering, facilitated by the Sagh’ic Animist Community, where we drum together in celebration and healing.
A look back at the beautiful energy of our recent workshops, including the Sagh'ic Monthly Drumming Circle. These gatherings are a core part of our community, offering a space for connection and joyful expression.
About Community Drum Circles
You do not need to be a musician or have any prior experience to join these circles. We provide the drums if you do not have one, and the focus is entirely on the collective energy of the group, guided by the Sagh'ic Animist Community to help release stored tension.
Why We Drum Together
Rhythm is arguably the oldest form of human connection. In our modern lives, we often lose touch with this primal need to vibrate, pulse, and release. At Uruvana, our monthly drum circles are not about performance or technical skill. They are about the somatic release that happens when you match your heartbeat to a group's collective tempo.
These sessions are facilitated in collaboration with the Sagh'ic Animist Community. We create a safe, non-judgmental container where you can:
- Regulate your nervous system: The repetitive motion and sound help shift the body from a state of stress into a place of rest and digestion.
- Release emotional blocks: Sometimes, words fail us. Drumming allows the body to express and discharge what the mind cannot articulate.
- Build belonging: Drumming in a circle creates a non-verbal language of unity. You feel heard and supported by the presence of others.
What to Expect at Uruvana
When you arrive at our studio in Indiranagar, you will find a space that has been energetically prepared for you. We keep the lighting low, the atmosphere intentional, and the group size comfortable. You do not need to bring an instrument as we have drums available for those who need them. We usually start with a grounding practice, move into the rhythmic flow, and end with a sharing circle to integrate the experience. It is a simple, effective practice that leaves you feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.
