The UMC Combat and Fitness Training Experience
Step into The Champions Dojo. From high-intensity cage training to practical self-defense, see how we build fighters and fitness enthusiasts alike.
This is where strength and technique meet. We focus on high-impact striking drills, like this pad work session, to build power, precision, and speed. It's not just about fitness; it's about developing the muscle memory you need to react effectively.
We were honored to conduct a self-defense awareness program for nearly 300 women at Ather. This image captures the energy and scale of our corporate workshops, where we empower teams with essential safety skills in a large group setting.
Most real fights end up on the ground, which is why we dedicate significant time to grappling and ground defense. This session focuses on submission techniques like the armbar, teaching you how to control an opponent and end a confrontation safely.
We prepare you for worst-case scenarios, including weapon-based threats. Here, an instructor demonstrates a practical technique to defend against a knife attack, focusing on control, disarming, and creating distance.
Welcome to our professional training facility. This is a clean, safe, and fully equipped space designed for serious training, featuring a large matted area and our signature MMA fighting cage for advanced sparring and simulation.
Hear directly from one of our members. In this video, she shares her experience with our self-defense classes, explaining how the training helped with both fitness and understanding how to handle real-life situations.
A successful self-defense workshop comes with a great sense of accomplishment. This is our group of newly empowered participants at the National Institute of Fashion Technology (NIFT) after completing their training program with us.
About this collection
We don't teach moves for show. Our training is grounded in reality, focusing on what happens when things get messy—whether that is in a parking lot or a crowded public space. From the high-impact striking drills in our HSR cage to our specialized women’s safety workshops, every session is designed to increase your reaction speed, physical conditioning, and mental grit.
The UMC Training Philosophy
We believe that combat sports are about more than just technique. Whether you are joining us for MMA, kickboxing, or boxing, the goal is the same: to make you physically and mentally prepared for any situation. We strip away the unnecessary, focusing strictly on fundamentals that win fights and build confidence.
Our Training Environment
We operate on the principle of sweat equity. Our HSR Layout facility features a professional-grade MMA fighting cage and EVA tatami mats, giving you a space to train hard without the fluff. Our classes are fan-ventilated and high-intensity, mirroring the reality of a combat scenario rather than a spa-like gym experience.
Who We Train
- Casual Learners & Fitness Seekers: If you want to get fit, lose weight, or just learn a new skill, we have structured group batches to get you there.
- Serious Fighters: Our cage-time sessions are for those who want to test their limits in MMA and competitive striking.
- Corporate & Educational Partners: We have successfully delivered self-defense workshops for teams at Ather, NIFT, and Zerofox, teaching large groups how to handle real-world threats.
- Kids & Teens: We build discipline and focus through our youth karate and gymnastics programs, helping younger members gain confidence and anti-bullying skills.
Whether you are a complete beginner or looking to sharpen advanced grappling and submission techniques, our certified coaches focus on a low student-to-coach ratio. You get the attention you need to correct your form, increase your speed, and develop the muscle memory required for effective self-defense.
United Martial Arts & Activity Club
We are the team behind UMC, where we believe champions are built, not born. Whether you are walking into our HSR cage for the first time or training for a competition, we treat every session like it counts. We strip away the fluff to focus on the grit, sweat, and technique that actually keeps you safe.
