Step out of the concrete jungle and onto the grass. We practice Hatha Vinyasa under the trees, breathe in the morning air, and share quiet moments together. It is real, imperfect, and grounding.

A time-lapse of our morning practice, moving through Surya Namaskara (Sun Salutations) and finding balance in tree pose. You can see the energy of the group flowing together with the rhythm of the park.

The whole group moving into Ubhaya Padangusthasana (Both Big Toe Pose). It’s a powerful sight, seeing everyone working on their core strength and balance together under the canopy of trees.

I always make time for individual attention. Here, I'm helping a student find a deeper twist and shoulder opening in a standing lunge variation during our outdoor Vinyasa class.

A candid moment from our Cubbon Park session. You can see the focus and the smiles, which is what my classes are all about. It's a mix of effort and ease.

Two students practicing a wide-legged seated forward bend. Our outdoor sessions offer plenty of space to stretch out and connect with your own practice, even in a group setting.

This picture captures the essence of our community. After a good practice, we settle into Savasana (Corpse Pose) for final relaxation, sometimes with a friendly canine invasion on the mat.

A wide view of our group in Savasana. There's a unique tranquility in surrendering to stillness together, surrounded by the gentle sounds of nature in the heart of the city.

A close-up of students in a reclined hip-opening pose. These moments of quiet stretching are just as important as the dynamic flows, allowing the body to release and recover.

Even our four-legged friends know the importance of a good stretch. A student in Balasana (Child's Pose) gets a gentle reminder to relax from our furry companion.

A happy group photo after our "Yoga in the Wilderness" session. The smiles and sense of community are what make these Sunday mornings so rewarding.

About Yoga in the Park: Our Cubbon Sessions

Don't worry about being the most flexible person in the park. My Sunday sessions are less about perfect alignment and more about showing up for yourself. You might see a stray dog wander onto a mat or hear a sitar player in the distance, and we just embrace it. Wear comfortable clothes, bring your own mat, and prepare to move with the rhythm of the trees rather than a rigid clock.
