There is something about practicing under the open sky that just hits different. From Bengaluru's parks to beach getaways, these sessions are all about finding joy in movement, connecting with nature, and shaking off the day.

A graceful, synchronized Vinyasa flow on the beach with friends. We moved through a sequence of standing poses like Warrior II and Reverse Warrior, with the sound of the waves in the background.

More from our beach yoga session, transitioning from Goddess Pose into other standing postures. Practicing with friends in such a beautiful setting is pure joy.

A quiet, personal yoga flow on the beach as the sun sets. These moments of solitude and movement by the ocean are incredibly calming and grounding.

Announcing a special outdoor session for International Yoga Day. My outdoor workshops focus on mindful movement and breathing techniques to help you relax and connect with your surroundings.

When yoga teachers go on a trip, we find beautiful spots to practice. Here we are, flowing together on the rocks in Wayanad, surrounded by incredible nature.

Finding my center with a Sirsasana (headstand) in the park. Practicing inversions outdoors helps improve focus and brings a fresh perspective, literally.

A dynamic yoga flow on an empty basketball court. This sequence includes transitions through Ardha Chandrasana (Half Moon Pose) and Bakasana (Crow Pose), showing that you can practice anywhere.

Holding Baddha Parsvakonasana, or the Bound Side Angle Pose. This deep stretch is great for opening the hips and shoulders, and it feels even better in the fresh air.

Another part of my outdoor flow, moving through an arm balance and a wild thing pose. Yoga is about creative expression and releasing tension stored in the body.

About Outdoor Yoga: Parks, Beaches & Beyond

Most people think outdoor yoga is just about the aesthetics, but the real challenge is finding your balance when the grass is uneven or the breeze is kicking in. I love it because it forces you to stop overthinking your alignment and just feel the pose—even if we wobble or fall, that's where the progress happens. You will need to bring your own mat, towel, and plenty of water, as these public park sessions are all about keeping it raw, real, and simple.
