About On the Drawing Board: A Look Ahead
In these concepts, we are exploring the rhythm of arches and the intricate play of light through modern Indian jali screens. These early-stage renders represent our shift toward blending monumental geometry with the soft, organic textures of local stone and mud, ensuring that every structure respects the natural topography of the site before we begin construction.
Architecture, for us, is a process of unfolding. Before a single stone is laid, we spend time studying sun paths, wind patterns, and the silent language of the land. These ongoing projects are where we stress-test new ideas in material science and form. From fluid ferrocement roofs that mimic natural caves to the precision of dry-cladding stone systems, we use this phase to challenge standard construction methods.
By visualizing these spaces as parametric 3D models, we can coordinate complex MEP systems early on, ensuring that the finished building remains as clean and minimal as the initial vision. Whether it is a luxury villa in Nandi Hills or a commercial retail space in South Bangalore, our goal remains the same. We want to craft environments that feel like they have grown out of the ground rather than being placed upon it.
