We create hospitality spaces that speak the language of their surroundings, blending modern architecture with the quiet rhythm of nature to design places where guests truly belong.

About Hospitality: Crafting Immersive Experiences

Designing for hospitality is about striking a balance between spectacle and sanctuary. When we approached the Aqua project in Nandi Hills, our focus was on using fluid ferrocement to create an open-air structure that feels like a natural cave, allowing guests to witness the landscape without compromising their privacy.

We view every hospitality project, from boutique villas to sprawling resorts, as an opportunity to weave architecture into the terrain. Our process begins with understanding the land. In the Nandi Valley, for instance, we chose to work with compressed stabilized earth blocks and site-responsive layouts that preserve existing rock formations and old trees rather than clearing them. This approach does more than minimize the carbon footprint. It grounds the architecture, making the built environment feel like an extension of the hill itself.

We often employ parametric design to create organic, fluid shapes that traditional methods might struggle to replicate efficiently. For our hospitality clients, this means iconic structural elements, like our signature thin-shell roofs, that act as a visual anchor while providing passive cooling through natural cross-ventilation.

When planning guest flow, we focus on the transition from arrival to experience. We design back-of-house operations to be invisible, ensuring staff routes never intersect with guest leisure zones. This creates a seamless, undisturbed atmosphere where the guest remains the focus. Whether it is a spa retreat or a community dining hub, our design intent is to craft spaces that foster connection, with nature, with others, and with oneself.
