This approach helps you build functional strength—like better grip, shoulder stability, and core control—that directly supports your asana practice. Whether you are using a 2kg dumbbell for a press or a resistance band for back strengthening, you are always practicing with breath and alignment as your foundation.

  • Load Bearing: We introduce light-to-medium dumbbells for movements like weighted lunges, shoulder presses, and deadlifts.
  • Resistance Training: We use Thera-bands to isolate muscles, particularly in the upper back and arms, which helps correct posture.
  • Cool Down: Every session ends with Savasana or brief meditation, ensuring your nervous system remains calm despite the physical exertion.

If you are worried about 'bulking up' or if you are completely new to weights, do not stress. We teach you how to use these tools to complement your yoga, not compete with it.
