Monthly Multi-Style Combat Training
Schedule Options
- Regular Batch: 4 days per week (Tue, Thu, Sat, Sun). Approx. 24 hours of coaching per month.
- Weekend Batch: 2 days per week (Sat, Sun). Approx. 18 hours of coaching per month.
- Venue: Training conducted outdoors at St. Francis School premises (non-AC environment).
Curriculum & Training
- Hybrid Style: Integrated learning of Karate, Taekwondo kicks, Aikido locks, Judo throws, BJJ ground game, and Kobudo weaponry.
- Conditioning: Old-school fitness involving running, calisthenics, and bodyweight strength drills.
- Digital Access: Google Classroom access for White Belts to review techniques at home.
Progression
- Ranking: Structured path from White Belt to Black Belt (exam fees extra).
- Competition: Eligibility for selection into the Fight Team for State/National MMA and Kickboxing tournaments.
Single-Day Self Defense Workshop
Workshop Scope
- Duration: Single-day intensive session lasting 3 to 4 hours.
- Focus: Practical street survival techniques, escaping grabs, and neutralizing immediate threats rather than sport combat.
- Eligibility: Open to all ages and fitness levels with no prior experience needed.
Training Content
- Scenarios: Partner drills simulating real-life unarmed attack situations.
- Mental Conditioning: Instruction on situational awareness and the psychology of confrontation.

Martial arts is way more than fighting. For 25+ years, I’ve poured my heart into building The School of Martial Arts with every student’s sweat and spirit. Here, discipline, respect, and sticking with it matter as much as learning to punch or kick. Sab kuch seekhna hai - not just moves but how to be a confident, humble person.

- Beginners: Start as White Belt, get video lessons for practice at home
- Women: Special focus on our women's boxing program, ladies-only batches
- Groups: Self-defense workshops for offices and communities
How We Roll
If you’re looking for quick results, this isn’t it. Black belt? Takes years. We train folks for competitions but care more about the experience than just winning. For diehard fighters, our 2-year diploma can even set you up for a career.

My Story
I’m Ashwin, founder of The School of Martial Arts. Been at this since 1998, sweat and soul, not just sport - it’s my life. Had my share of injuries, thought I’d hang up my gloves, but nope, still fighting, still winning medals in my 50s. What makes me proud? Seeing a 55-year-old get his black belt, watching Naina use her skills to protect a friend. My students say, 'ivattu namage kalisikottiddu full upayog aaytu' (today’s training was really useful). That’s what keeps me going. I walk this path with my students, not just show the way.
My Work
Combat Sports & Fitness Training - We teach MMA, Kickboxing, Boxing, Muay Thai, BJJ, Taekwondo, and Yoga. Training for marathons too.
BOX-M Diploma Martial Arts Programme - Unique 2-year diploma in martial arts boxing, including judging, refereeing, and special batches for women.
