Workshop Logistics
- Duration: 4 to 5 hours of intensive training, usually on weekends.
- Venue: Community Hall or Open Ground in Ghatkopar/Vikhroli/Powai provided by the instructor. Basic amenities only.
- Participants: Open to Men, Women, and Teens.
Advanced Curriculum
- Ground Defense: Techniques to guard against kicks and safely stand up if knocked down.
- Close Quarter Combat: Defense against being pinned to walls or floors, focusing on anti-molestation tactics.
- Improvised Weapons: Using everyday items like keys, pens, or bags as defensive tools.
- Pressure Testing: Controlled sparring drills to simulate real confrontation adrenaline.

- Certification: Physical Certificate of Participation provided.
Corporate & Housing Society Safety Workshop
Core Logistics
- Duration: Single session lasting 2 to 3 hours.
- Location: Conducted at your office conference room, cafeteria, or society hall.
- Team: Led by Sensei Rehan Sayyed plus 1 Assistant Instructor for supervision.
- Capacity: Valid for a batch of up to 30 participants to ensure individual attention.

- Psychological Defense: Fight or Flight analysis, verbal de-escalation, and identifying commute threats.
- Release Techniques: Drills to escape wrist grabs, hair grabs, and bear hugs using leverage.
- Striking Basics: Using natural weapons like elbows, knees, and palm heels.
- Weapon Awareness: Basic survival strategy and distance management against knife threats.
Equipment & Delivery
- Gear: Instructor brings focus pads and rubber knives for simulation.
- Language: Instruction in a mix of Hindi and English for universal comprehension.
Student Assembly Awareness Session
Session Details
- Duration: 60 to 90 Minutes.
- Setting: Suitable for Assembly Halls, Playgrounds, or Auditoriums.
- Format: Demonstration style with selected volunteers on stage.
Content Coverage
- The Warrior Mindset: Motivational talk on discipline, struggle, and building confidence.
- Basic Drills: Teaching the group 3 to 4 effective moves like throat strikes or groin kicks practiced in the air.
- Safety Awareness: Age-appropriate guidance on personal space and Good Touch/Bad Touch.
Note
- Style: This is a non-contact awareness session. No equipment is used by the students due to the large group size.

Why I Teach Self-Defense
I've never believed in just chalo jo hoga dekhenge (let's see what happens). For me, it's all about sangharsh (struggle) and himmat (courage). My workshops are about more than just learning to throw a punch; they're about helping you actually feel you can handle yourself, even when things get tough.

What We Practice
I keep it real. No film-style drama, just practical stuff that works:
- Core strikes - elbows, fists, knees, the basics you can actually use.
- Escape techniques for wrist grabs, front holds, and even from behind.
- Basics of weapon defense, like handling a knife threat.
- Simple takedowns so you can get away safely.
Who Can Join
Everyone's welcome - fitness level, body type, it doesn't matter. I've designed these for:
- Women who want to feel safer (women's safety training is a big focus for me)
- Office groups, because safety matters at work too (corporate personal safety workshops)

My Story
Main Rehan Sayyed hoon, karate meri zindagi hai 15 saal se. Middle class struggle hi asli cheez hai—sangharsh nikal gaya toh sab kuch khatam. Yeh main apne students ko bhi sikhaata hoon, chahe woh chhota bachcha ho ya bada. Government school mein free mein bhi sikhaya hai, kyunki jo mila hai woh baantna zaroori hai. Jab mere students championship jeette hain ya pehli baar confident khade hote hain, lagta hai jaise main khud jeet gaya. Bas, yahi meri asli award hai.
My Work
Karate & Self-Defense Classes - I teach karate to kids and adults, plus self-defense and kumite workshops. Corporates, schools, sab ke liye.
Realistic Self-Defense Techniques - Training is pura practical—maan lo koi knife attack kare, main turant sikhata hoon kya karna hai. No theory, only action.
Karate for Confidence and Discipline - Karate sirf punches nahi, yeh journey hai. Discipline, confidence, focus—sab kuch milta hai. Warrior banne ka mauka.
Special Focus: Kids & Women - Kids ko strong banana mera favourite hai. Women’s empowerment through karate—sabko easy aur safe training milti hai.
