Meet Sensei Rehan Sayyed & Our Karate Journey
Karate is more than just a sport—it is a path to discipline and inner strength. Get to know the philosophy, hard work, and training behind my 15-year journey.
Karate is a journey of self-improvement that builds discipline, focus, and respect. This is the intensity and concentration I bring to every class I teach.
A classic karate pose demonstrating a punch (tsuki) and block (uke). This posture represents the balance between offense and defense, a core principle of martial arts.
I was honored to receive this Felicitation of Appreciation from Mumbai Meri Jaan. This recognition fuels my dedication to empowering our community through the discipline and art of karate.
About Meet the Instructor & Our Achievements
When you train with me, you aren't just memorizing moves. You are learning a system I have built over 15 years, tested in both community workshops and professional competitions. Whether you are a beginner or looking to advance, I lead every session personally to make sure your technique is safe, practical, and effective.
15 Years of 'Sangharsh' and Dedication
I have always believed that without sangharsh (struggle), you cannot achieve anything. My journey as a karate coach started 15 years ago, and today, as a 4th Dan Black Belt, my focus remains the same: helping you build the confidence to stand tall. Karate is not just about the punches you throw; it is about the discipline you carry into your daily life.
My Approach to Teaching
I keep my training simple and effective. You won't find any film-style drama here. Whether we are practicing at my centers in Ghatkopar and Powai or conducting a corporate session elsewhere in Mumbai, the focus is always on real-world utility. My goal is to ensure that everyone—from kids in school to working professionals—walks out of the session feeling safer and more capable.
Giving Back to the Community
One of my proudest moments was receiving the Felicitation of Appreciation from Mumbai Meri Jaan at Krida Bhawan. It was a recognition not just for me, but for the community of students I work with. I have also dedicated time to teaching in government schools for free, because I believe the strength and focus gained through martial arts should be accessible to everyone.
If you are looking for a mentor who values hard work and real results, I am here to guide you.
