Our studio is a calm and inviting space, filled with natural light, plants, and the creations of our community. It has grown so much since we first started.

About The Studio: Our Creative Space
Our HSR Layout studio is intentionally designed for small groups, with a cap of just eight people per session. This ensures that whether you are learning to center clay on the wheel or experimenting with hand-building, you get the personal space and guidance you need without the noise of a crowded classroom.
When I started The Potter's Place, I wanted a spot that felt less like a workshop and more like a creative home. You will find professional Nidec Shimpo wheels for those diving into wheel throwing, and plenty of table space for hand-building and sculpting. The studio is filled with natural light, plants, and the hum of a community learning together. We take care of the entire process here, from the initial shaping and trimming to glazing and the final firing in our Skutt electric kiln. It is a messy, beautiful journey, and I love seeing the variety of pieces our members create, from functional mugs to intricate chess sets. Whether you are a total beginner joining a 'Play with Clay' workshop or a member working on a ten-week project, this space is yours to explore.
