A look into how I blend aerial inversions, core strengthening, and mindful flow to help you find balance in the busy streets of Whitefield.

I believe yoga can feel like flying, and the hammock is our partner in the air. Here, I am moving through an inverted sequence, using the silk to open my hips and find a sense of weightless freedom. This is the playful side of yoga, where strength meets surrender.

The hammock makes challenging inversions like handstands feel safe and accessible, even for beginners. In this video, I demonstrate how the silk provides support while I engage my core with inverted crunches, building serious strength while upside down.

Building a powerful core is central to my aerial practice. This flying split sequence shows how we use the hammock to create instability, forcing the deep abdominal muscles to fire and stabilize the body through dynamic movements like knee tucks and leg extensions.

To fly, we first need to build a strong foundation on the ground. Dolphin pose is a key preparatory asana for inversions, as it strengthens the shoulders, arms, and core. This sequence shows the controlled movement that builds stability for both mat and aerial work.

Navasana, or Boat Pose, is a classic for igniting your core. In this outdoor practice, I flow through several variations, from the static hold to dynamic leg movements, demonstrating how to build the core endurance needed for more advanced yoga poses.

My practice extends beyond the studio walls, connecting me to nature and the deeper philosophy of yoga. On the beach, with the sound of the waves, each pose becomes a conversation with the elements. This is a reminder that yoga is a journey of uniting mind, body, and soul.

About Featured

These images show my practice, but it is really about how it feels to move. Whether you are using the hammock for support or building strength on the mat, my sessions focus on making movement accessible and playful. It is not just about the pose; it is about how the breath guides you through the challenge.
