Whether you are picking up clay for the first time or want to dive deep into Raku firing, my Jona Pur studio is a space to slow down. Come get your hands messy and find your own shape.

This is where the magic begins. Just the feeling of wet clay spinning between your hands is a therapy in itself. It's a dance of pressure and release, finding the center.

Look at that smile and the amazing collection of first-time creations! From a quirky cat sculpture to colorful mugs and bowls, this is what pure, unfiltered creativity looks like. This is what my studio is all about.

There is no age to start learning. Watching this young artist carefully paint his creations and then proudly show off his first pot from the wheel fills the studio with so much joy.

We love hosting corporate teams. It's a fantastic way to break from the screen, get hands messy, and connect in a completely new way. The room was buzzing with energy and laughter.

The thrill of a Raku firing is something else. We pull the piece glowing red-hot from the kiln and the fire and smoke work their magic. You never know exactly what you'll get, and that's the beauty of it.

Clay is better with company. It’s wonderful to see couples and friends sharing a wheel, laughing at the wobbles, and proudly holding up what they made together. It's a perfect date or a day out.

This is the unpredictable beauty of Raku. The intense heat and smoke create these incredible, iridescent colors and crackle patterns. This leaf-shaped dish looks like a piece of captured galaxy.

This is my happy place, centered at the wheel. Every piece starts with a lump of clay and a quiet focus. I am here to guide you, but the journey of creation is all yours.

About Featured

You might be worried about making a mess or a wobbly pot, but that is actually the best part. I have seen hundreds of first-timers walk into this studio thinking they aren't artistic, only to leave with a piece they are genuinely proud of. The wheel is a teacher, and my job is just to help you listen to what the clay wants to do today.
