Working on the Cadillac isn't just about looking cool in a split. When you’re here, we focus on the push-through bar for safe spinal articulation or using the fuzzy straps for an inversion that actually decompresses your back. You will feel the difference in your range of motion immediately because we adjust the resistance to meet your body right where it is today.

The Cadillac, also known as the Trapeze Table, is easily the most versatile piece of equipment in my Sahakar Nagar studio. While we do plenty of standard mat and Reformer work, the Cadillac takes things to a different level. It allows us to move in every plane of motion, which is incredible for building real-world strength and fixing imbalances.

Why I use the Cadillac

  • Spinal Decompression: Those hanging exercises you see? They aren't just for show. They are designed to lengthen the spine, relieve pressure, and give you that 'walking on air' feeling after a session.
  • Customized Resistance: With the various springs and bars, I can support you while you learn a movement or add resistance to challenge your muscles further.
  • Core Engagement: You can't cheat on the Cadillac. Every movement requires deep engagement, which builds that 'true' core strength that protects your back and improves your posture.

What to expect in a session

My instruction style is very hands-on. Whether you are aiming for a deeper stretch or a challenging aerial inversion, I will be right there making sure your form is safe. I use STOTT PILATES principles to ensure you aren't just flailing around, but actually using your muscles correctly. It is tough work, but we definitely find time to laugh and celebrate when you finally nail that pose you've been working on.
