We combine ancient wisdom with practical discipline. From therapeutic healing to professional yoga teacher training, discover how we use bodywork, props, and traditional kriyas to improve your health.
This is how we use rope yoga to improve flexibility and strength for both beginners and advanced practitioners. The ropes provide support to help you achieve deeper forward bends and build core stability in a safe, controlled way.
Here, I am demonstrating a few of the specific massage patterns we use on the calf muscles. By applying pressure in targeted directions, we can effectively improve blood circulation, activate the lymphatic system for detoxification, and aid in muscle recovery.
I am guiding a student through Grivasana, or the Neck Pose, using a yoga belt for support. This advanced posture is excellent for strengthening the neck and pelvic floor muscles and can also help in managing thyroid-related issues.

This is our mud therapy session in action, a core part of our naturopathy treatments. We use direct application of medicinal mud on the face and body to draw out toxins, cool the system, and improve skin health, harnessing the healing power of the earth element.
Hearing stories like this is why I do what I do. This student shares how our yoga teacher training course helped her manage depression to the point where she could stop her medication. It's a powerful reminder that yoga heals both the body and the mind.

About Featured
This gallery is a snapshot of our core philosophy. Whether you see us using rope walls for spinal alignment, applying medicinal mud for deep detoxification, or teaching advanced neck poses, everything here is designed for one purpose: to restore your body’s natural intelligence.
We do not believe in one-size-fits-all solutions. At our Airoli institute, we see individuals with everything from chronic back pain and sciatica to stress and digestive issues. My approach bridges the gap between traditional Indian yoga and modern functional movement.
The Three Pillars of Our Practice
1. Therapeutic Healing Forget about temporary relief or quick fixes. We look at the root cause. If you are dealing with chronic pain, we use a combination of cupping, rope therapy, and Ayurvedic massage to get you moving again. It is about lifestyle change, not just symptom management.
2. Professional Training If you want to build a career in wellness, we teach you how to survive and thrive. I train yoga teachers not just in advanced asanas like Grivasana or shuddhi kriya, but in the business of running a practice. You learn the anatomy and the philosophy, but you also learn how to build a lasting career.
3. Natural Detoxification Our naturopathy programs, including mud baths and gut cleansing, are built on the Prithvi Tattva (earth element). We strip away the unnecessary to help your system reset. It is honest, effective, and rooted in tradition.
Whether you are here for a single session of massage therapy or a full-time TTC course, expect a direct, no-nonsense path to results. If you are ready to stop guessing and start healing, we are here.
The Ashtanga Institute
I am Dr. Sandeep Dongre. I believe yoga is a living tradition, not just a gym workout or a textbook concept. My institute is where we stop guessing and start healing, whether through intense teacher training or targeted naturopathy for chronic pain.
