Since I merge different photos to create one scene, the most important part is getting the lighting and angles to match so the painting looks natural, not forced. Once you share your reference images, I will put together a digital layout for you to approve before any paint touches the canvas, ensuring the final piece captures exactly what you envisioned.

My Process for Merged Portraits
- The Selection: Send me your favorite reference photos. Don't worry if the lighting is different in each; I can balance the tones to make them look like they were taken together.
- The Digital Mockup: I create a layout first. This is where we finalize the placement of each person or pet, ensuring the composition feels natural and balanced.
- The Painting: Once you give the thumbs up on the layout, I start the actual painting. I use double-coat acrylics for vibrant, long-lasting color and finish with a double coat of varnish for protection.
