What I Do
I turn your memories into hand-painted portraits that feel personal. Each painting I make is detailed, and honestly, I pour a lot of myself into it - sometimes I worry, kya pata pasand aaye ya nahi (who knows if they’ll like it or not), but hearing how people wait months just for a slot keeps me going.
How It Works
- I mostly paint with acrylics on canvas, but I also use wooden slices and other surfaces.
- You can get a solo portrait, family painting, couple portrait (these are my fave), sibling or BFF art, or custom pet portrait art.
- If you want everyone together in one painting but don’t have a single photo, I can merge different images for you.
- I keep my orders limited because each one takes serious time and lots of heart - so slots fill up quickly.
- Give me 15 to 20 days minimum. It is handmade, so sometimes it takes longer than even I expect. Need it faster? Tell me, there is a small urgency charge.
Make It Yours
- Let’s customise the background: dreamy landscapes, Starry Night feels, Ghibli vibes, doodles from your own story, or a music or pop culture theme you’re obsessed with.
- Names, dates, quotes - I can add these too if you want.
The Gift Vibe
A personalised canvas gift is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, Rakhi, or just to say “tu mera thangakudam” (you’re my treasure). Every painting comes gift-wrapped, and if you want, I’ll throw in a handwritten note or some polaroids. Sometimes people ask for chocolates - I’m totally fine with that too.
My Process
Prep, sketch, layer paint, and finish with varnish. Each portrait gets my signature on the back and a bit of my heart, honestly.

Hey, I’m Rattan! I’m that overthinker, self-taught artist in Bangalore who’s still figuring out the imposter syndrome thing. If you’re a creative soul with a messy heart, you get me. Every painting I do is a little piece of me, not just a job. I live for that moment when someone finally gets their art after months of waiting and just lights up. How it works - For commissions, there’s usually a waitlist. We’ll chat, tweak things, and I’ll pour my heart into every layer.
