The best part of my job is hearing your reactions when you finally see the painting. It makes all the late nights and detailed layering worth it. Here are some of those special moments.

Wait till the end for the feedback. This video shows the process of painting a portrait for a best friend and ends with the client's heartwarming messages and a story of them receiving the gift.

From a digital sketch to a happy customer. This video shows the creation of a framed digital portrait and the client's smiling face as she holds the final product.

About Client Love & Reactions

Each commission is a slow process because I refuse to rush the details. Whether it is a couple’s portrait or a specific theme, I spend time prepping and layering acrylics to ensure it truly feels like you. When you open that package, with the wax seal and handwritten note, I want you to feel the same excitement I had while painting it.

When I first started painting portraits, I did not realize how much these canvases would come to mean to people. It is not just about the paint. It is about the stories you share, the inside jokes you want me to capture, and those 11:11 moments you ask me to include.

My Process Before I ever touch a brush to canvas, we chat. I need to understand the vibe. If you are sending me photos for a composite piece, I treat those like puzzles, carefully merging them so they look natural. Once we finalize the composition, I sketch, layer, and eventually, seal the painting with a high-quality varnish to keep those memories safe from dust and fading.

Packaging & The Experience I believe the unboxing matters just as much as the art. Every commission comes gift-wrapped with translucent paper, rustic twine, and dried flowers. I want it to feel like you are receiving a treasure from a friend, not just a product from a shop.

Whether you are in Bangalore looking for a local artist or shipping a gift anywhere in India, I treat every order with the same care. If you have a specific idea, maybe a landscape that means something to you or a complex composite family portrait, just let me know. I do limit my slots because each piece takes serious time. If you have seen something here that sparks an idea, reach out, and let us talk about your portrait.

Hi, I am Rattan! I am just a self-taught artist in Bangalore trying to make sense of the world through acrylics and a whole lot of love. Every single piece I paint has a bit of my heart in it, and I honestly get just as nervous and excited as you do when it is time to reveal the final work.
