Why I Host Painting Parties
Art should feel easy and fun, not scary. I started these workshops so anyone (even if you haven’t touched a brush since school) can just show up, let loose, and make something cool. It’s not about perfect strokes, it’s about wobbly lines and happy accidents. The best part? You walk out with a piece that’s totally yours.
What’s the Scene Like?
- My vibe is super chill - no judgement, no pressure.
- You’ll find me setting up in cafes, studios, or even your office, creating a space that feels like a secret garden.
- We do everything from sip and paint night sessions to themed art parties (Taylor Swift, Christmas, album art - you get the drift).
- Want something deeper? I also run mindful art workshops with creative journaling, zines, and self-love canvases.
Stuff We Paint On
- Not just canvas – try DIY tote bag painting, mirrors, terracotta plates, coasters.
- You always take home what you make. It’s your little thangakudam (treasure).
Who Comes?
- Honestly, mostly folks who say “I haven’t painted since school!” That’s perfect.
- I guide you step-by-step, sharing easy hacks and how to fix any moye moye (messy) moments.
Locations
- Mostly in Bengaluru (Indiranagar, HSR, Whitefield, Kalyan Nagar).
- Sometimes I pop up in Mumbai, Gurugram, Chandigarh too.
Sips and snacks are usually part of the deal. Just come as you are, and let’s create something real together.

My Story
Hey, I’m Rattan! I’m that anxious, self-taught artist in Bangalore who’s always fighting imposter syndrome. If you’re a creative soul with a messy heart, you get me. Every painting I do is a little piece of me, not just a job. I live for those moments when someone finally gets their art after months and lights up. And my art workshops? Especially the Taylor Swift ones—they’re just pure joy, music, and a lot of laughing (and maybe crying). Art’s for everyone, trust me.
My Work
What I do - Custom portraits (people, pets), Sip & Paint Bangalore events, Taylor Swift themed art workshops, art parties, and acrylic/watercolour classes.
Custom Portraits - I turn your memories into art—weddings, pets, anything—mostly with acrylics on any canvas shape you like.
Workshops & Parties - Beginner-friendly art classes and parties, lots of silly warm-ups, no pressure, just painting for fun. Swifties, you’ll love it.
How it works - For commissions, there’s usually a waitlist. We’ll chat, tweak things, and I’ll pour my heart into every layer.
